National Ranges Company K.S.C.C. “Mayadeen” was established in May 1998 as a Closed Kuwaiti Shareholding Company, incorporated with a paid up capital of KD2.43 million. In June 2005, Mayadeen was listed on the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange and in July 2006 as part of its expansion and diversification strategy aimed at pursuing real estate opportunities locally and regionally, Mayadeen successfully completed the increase of its capital to KD100 million. This marked the election of a new board of directors and executive management team whose main objective has been to position Mayadeen as a major player in the GCC real estate development markets.

After its capital increase, Mayadeen formed a number of wholly owned limited liability companies whose financial management, operation and strategic direction it controls and which are focused on exploiting all appropriate real estate opportunities. The Mayadeen group now includes the following companies:-

• Mayadeen of Emirates Real Estate Company W.L.L. established 12 February 2006.  It owns and operates the Aurora and Dari projects in Shams Abu Dhabi.
• Gulf Mayadeen Real Estate Company W.L.L established 9 January 2007.  It owns strategic shareholding in a real estate equity fund in Al-Ehsa, in the east of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Second Mayadeen of Emirates Company for selling, buying, renting and leasing out of land and property and project management W.L.L. established 29 January 2008.  It owns and operates the Coral Heights project in Dubai Maritime City
• Mayadeen Dubai Real Estate W.L.L. established 28 February 2008.
